It displays headlines, summaries and links from third-party publishers. This policy covers the All News app and web interface. 1. Information stored on your device All News does not require an account. Your selected news sources and preferences (including text size, layout, automatic refresh and appearance) are stored in your browser or Android WebView local storage. Search text is used locally to filter the feed and is not sent to our news service. Earlier versions with a saved-stories feature store a story's headline, available summary, publisher, article link, publication date and save time on your device. Versions without this feature do not read or add saved stories. Previously saved items may remain in local storage until you clear the app/site data. They are not uploaded by All News to a user account or synchronized through our news service. Android's system backup or device-transfer features may include app data, depending on your device and backup settings. These features are operated by your device/backup provider, rather than an All News account service. 2. Network requests and service providers To load and refresh news, the app contacts our news service hosted on Google Cloud Run. The requested feed identifies the selected publisher. Network services necessarily receive technical information such as your IP address, request time, requested URL and browser/app request headers. Hosting providers may record request and error logs for service operation, security and diagnosis. All News does not send your saved-story list or search text with these requests. The web interface uses Google Fonts and may request its web icon from Imgur. Opening the public website or policy through GitHub also sends a request to GitHub's hosting service. It does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or phone files. We do not sell personal information or use your saved stories for advertising. 3. Publisher links When you open an original article, you visit the publisher's website in your browser. That publisher controls its own cookies, subscriptions, advertising and data collection. Its privacy policy applies to that visit. All News does not control those websites or download full articles for offline reading. 4. Contacting us If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information you choose to include. We use it to respond to support requests, handle privacy questions and resolve reported problems. Avoid sending passwords or other sensitive information. Your email provider also processes that communication. 5. Retention and deletion Local preferences and any stories saved by an earlier version remain until you clear the app/site data. Versions with bookmark buttons also let you remove individual saved stories. To remove all local data, clear this website's storage in your browser or use Android Settings > Apps > All News > Storage > Clear storage. Backup copies are controlled through your device/backup provider's settings. There is no All News account to delete. Support correspondence is kept as needed to resolve the request and any related follow-up or applicable legal obligation. Technical log retention is governed by the hosting service's configuration and applicable provider terms. Security and changes The app uses HTTPS for its news service. Local storage relies on your browser and device protections; no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
